It shouldn’t be painful, as a mild anaesthetic is applied. Discomfort during treatment is relative and really does depend on the person.
The treatment can last anywhere between 8-18 months. This is dependent upon the individual is different for every person. Aspects including aftercare and lifestyle all effect the longevity of the treatment. Over time the strokes will need to be topped up usually after 9- 12 months. The beauty of this treatment is that it fades gradually giving you the choice whether to continue with the treatment. Too many top ups are not recommended. From 12- 24 months your brows will need to be assessed as the full treatment maybe needed.
Yes 100% you will experience very little redness and the aftercare is very minimal on the day of your appointment (all aftercare is provided by me)
Yes totally! We will sit down and have a full consultation before we start – we will decide the colour and shape before any part of the treatment begins.
The Treatment is initially a 2 appointment process , 6 weeks apart (allow 2 hours for 1st session and 1 hour for the 2nd). A 3rd session may be needed by some clients depending on pigment retention. This is outside the artists control and can be dependent on many factors, such as skin condition, adherence to aftercare and some external factors such as sun exposure.
It’s very important to understand that following your treatment , there will be some redness, swelling and itching may occur, this is a very natural part of the healing process. Your new brows will look a shade or two darker for the first few days, then lighten within the first week. Full aftercare procedure will be explained thoroughly by your artist and involves a few simple steps to help the healing process. You will be provided with a full aftercare pack to take home with you. The aftercare is an extremely important and does affect the results if not carried out correctly
